At this school in Camberwell South London, Marcus Sheppard Flooring were tasked with replacing the nosings and vinyl on a main set of stairs. After removing the old vinyl and silicone we removed the old nosings. The concrete was in very bad condition and needed to be dug out before we could refill it with screed.
After making sure all the stairs were solid and had a smooth surface we primed them. Each stair had a piece of vinyl glued and fitted and then we fitted the stair nosings which had been cut to size by the supplier. Each nosing was glued and then screwed into place before.
